Built into the hillside rather than onto it, the Forest Loft is entered at the upper level and opens downward. The mezzanine holds a desk and a reading chair; the lower floor holds the bed and a freestanding bath positioned in front of a full-height window.
The window faces due east into dense canopy, which means the room fills with green light from about six in the morning. There are blackout curtains for those who would rather it did not.
A favourite with writers and solo travellers.
